Sisterhood

The objectives of the BAYT Sisterhood are to sponsor and promote programming focusing on women’s issues and areas of interest to women within the BAYT congregation and the Thornhill Community, and to support events at the BAYT for its members.

How we do that:

For the community and our members:

• Welcoming new members into the Thornhill community.
• Centerpiece Gemach
• Bikur cholim
• Attending to hospitality for visitors 
• Setting up a meal train to help a family. 
• Maddie Leventhal Mikveh Centre.  
• BAYT Youth 

BAYT events that are supported by Sisterhood:

Women’s Kiddushim,Shalosh Regalim Speakers,Simchas Beis Hashoeva,Tu Beshvat Program,Holocaust Breakfast with Survivors,The Market,The Bat Mitzvah Program,Shabbat Itanu,Latke Night,Youth Shabbos,Emunah Shabbos,Shul Wide Mishloach Manot Campaign.
